Well kids! We are more than halfway through the season and things are tight at the top and bottom of the standings. Two games separate the top six teams and two games separate 4th through 9th in the standings.
It'll be another wild finish as things are shifting a bit in the Power Rankings as well. Will Steve retain that top spot? Only one way to find out!
12) Peter's Team (1-7, 898.42 PF)- Our sources project that Pete has less than 1% of winning the championship.
11) Coop Her Kupp (1-7, 934.16 PF)- While the overall record might not show it, Jude's squad is slowly improving. Over the past four weeks they are actually right in the middle of points scored. Don't count this squad out of it, just yet, as it is primed for a late season push!
10) Purple Helmet (3-5, 962.80 PF)- If you go by straight points scored, you'll see that Jonny Jon averages just under 3.5 points more than Jude per week, yet has managed 2 more wins. With the schedule ahead they're gonna need to get hot in a hurry!
9) Shirley Stranglers (2-6, 1020.46 PF)- After starting 0-4, Nate is turning things around...a little. 2-2 over his last 4, he's one game out of the last playoff spot. If Michael Thomas starts playing in games, this team could be trouble down the stretch.
8) Team Deloria (4-4, 994.80 PF)- Injuries early on have hampered Deloria's squad, as evidences by only scoring over 128.44, twice and has only beat the overall average league score of 132.9 once on the season. Deloria is averaging 124.35 PPG, and every opponent the rest of the way has been averaging more than that over the past four weeks.
7) Bobsicles. (3-5, 1064.04 PF)- Despite being the only team to beat The Tee Party, things have not really looked up since that moment. In the midst of a two game losing streak, Larry Legend is hanging on to that last playoff spot by a thread.
6) Marvelous Muzzy's (5-3, 1008.92 PF)- Currently sixth in the standings, but that spot is about as secure as a Trump lead in Pennsylvania (#topical). Look Run CMC is back which has Matt feeling, well sorta like...
5) Kyle's Team (5-3, 1056.68 PF)- The next couple of weeks will test this team's mettle, with a matchup against Dave and then Will.
4) Carnal Fruitarians (5-3, 1214.82 PF)- The up and down season continues for Dave, will this week be an up or a down?
3) The Tee Party (7-1, 1177.20 PF)- Could potentially clinch a playoff spot this week...#nobigdeal
2) Laughing Kookaburra- (6-2, 1213.00 PF)- No one has scored more points that Brandon over the past four weeks and Steve's Power Ranking lead is dwindling!
1) Salem Salad Tossers (6-2, 1209.62 PF)- Steve's held the top spot all season, but Brandon is knocking on the door and we're just two weeks from their epic matchup.
